The new HALO Edition XBox 360 announced during the E3 2007 Microsoft Conference has a price now. It will be sold at the original price of the XBox 360 Premium package before the price drop which is $399. So just think about buying an XBox 360 without the price drop but you get the awesome Halo design with gold tray finish, with the wireless Halo edition controller and headset, plus your XBox is HDMI ready. A special addition is the Charge and Play kit packed in the box.
Compared to the XBox 360 Elite is that the HDD is still 20gigs whereas the Elite has 120gigs on its HDD. Another is the missing HDMI cable, worth up to $50 when bought seperately, which comes bundles with the Elite.
Now the wireless headset that is also Halo themed will be sold seperately at $59. Now I'm thinking if Microsoft would release an XBox 360 Ultimate where you get 120gig HDD, HDMI compatible, HDMI cable, Halo Edition finish, wireless controller, wireless headset, with Charge and Play.... oh oh... with.. with... built in wifi. Yah! That would be nice... and... oh oh oh... and the disc drive to be HD-DVD... all for 499. If that happens then we'll really see a console war! One shall stand! One shall fall!
