Europe Also Gets a 360 Price Cut

Unlike PS3 denying the price cut for their console, Microsoft has decided to do just the opposite and give the UK gamers a taste of the benefit. The Core pack is getting a £20 price cut becoming £179.99 ($358) and £30 on the Premium pack becoming £249.99 ($497). Also when the Elite debut it will cost £299.99 ($596). The Core pack will is now equal priced as the Wii in Europe.

Also in Belgium the prices are going to be €449 Elite, 349 Premium, 279 Core, but that's not what they are calling it for they are getting a new name. The Core will now be called Arcade with subtitle "Just Play". Makes sense since you can't really save on HDD. And adding subtitle for the Premium to be "Go Pro" which I think they are calling the Pro package. As for the Elite they are giving it "Go Big". But that's not all. All Xbox 360s are getting the HDMI port. Yup! Also the Co... I mean, Arcade package. The Arcade pack has an included 5 XBLA games packed in the 256MB memory card that it comes with making it really an Arcade package. We still don't know if this is indication if we in North America will also be getting this extra treats. Let's hope so.
