ID Software and Epic has always been rivals in FPS games. Currently with the popularity of Epic's Unreal Engine 3 being used in alot of games in both 360 and PS3, people might think that Epic is winning the war. But when you ask ID Software about this claim they just simply reply as "This dont bother us at all, we've always done things in our own pace. We don't even look at unreal." Sure they don't and that's why they're really giving all they have on their Tech-5 Engine. So whatever happens we'll always get the best of the best while these two duke it out.
